A day exploring Christian entrepreneurship for social entrepreneurs, business leaders, and church leaders. Are you…

  • A business leader who wants to bring Christian values into your organization?
  • A church or ministry leader wanting to develop sustainable income streams?
  • Someone with a missional idea, looking for how to make it work financially?

The morning will feature keynotes from business and social enterprise leaders, telling their story and sharing their wisdom. The afternoon will feature seminar options so you can dialogue further with our speakers, plus consultation slots for those with social enterprise ideas they want to talk through with a Christian business professional.

Founder, Kahaila Coffee Shop

Paul founded Kahaila in 2012 as an innovative church and coffee shop on Brick Lane. Alongside these, it has grown and developed a series of social projects to support vulnerable people, including a shelter for trafficked women, a mentoring program for women in prison, and a bakery for women wanting to exit prostitution. He will be speaking on the Kahaila story.

Claudine Reid MBE

Claudine Reid MBE

Director, PJ's Community Service

Claudine holds many roles, which include co-directing the award-winning social enterprise PJ’s Community Service, TV and radio presenting, and promoting economic empowerment to women and BME communities. She is a former Cabinet Office Social Enterprise Ambassador, and with over 20 years experience she will be speaking on the UK social enterprise sector.

Terry is the director of A Call To Business, a growing international community of business people who believe that God has called them into business not simply as a job or career, but to influence and change this potent sphere of authority. A former pastor and entrepreneur, he will be speaking on how to build Christian values into the foundation of a business.

Head of Mission, UK Methodist Church

Jude is Head of Mission for the Methodist Church, playing a key role in supporting and managing work related to mission, evangelism, children and young people, public issues, global relationships, engagement and grants. She is part of the Love Welcomes initiative, and will be speaking on their work of helping Syrian refugee women to develop income generation skills.

Executive Chair, Central Hall Westminster

Tim is the Connexional Treasurer for the Methodist Church, and is also the chair of Central Hall Westminster, the conference centre that operates out of Methodist Central Hall. Tim and a team from MCHW will speak on how to creatively use church buildings to raise money for missional projects.

Marvee-Lisa is a founder and commercial director of Postworks, a company making post simple by providing outsourced printing, posting and franking services. As founder, she has based the company on biblical principles of generosity and service. She will be speaking on the Postworks story, and how serving God has brought a competitive edge to the business.

Restaurant Owners

Mark Hufford, Jonathan Purser, Blake Wohlgemuth and Waylon Willoughby are a team of four Chick-fil-A restaurant owners from the USA. They will share on the story of Chick-fil-A, a successful company built on Christian values. They will also be available for afternoon consultations for people with new missional enterprises they want to discuss with an expert.

Founder, SheLives

Joanna is the founder of SheLives, a ministry helping women around the world to break the cycle of a bad story. She is also the International Director of One Rock International, training and coaching missional leaders around the world. She will be co-hosting the Being Christian Entrepreneurs workshop day.

Mark Williamson

CEO, One Rock International

Mark is co founder and CEO of One Rock International, helping young leaders around the world to be missionary entrepreneurs who fulfil God’s vision for their lives. He has experience working with church planters, social entrepreneurs and business founders, and will be co-hosting the workshop on Being Christian Entrepreneurs.
