What a month September has been! for meeting and training new partners!
We had a team delivering workshops on servant leadership in Kota Kinabalu (Malaysia) and Singapore, working with some great leaders and organizations in these two cities.
We had a team in London delivering workshops for organizations, and kick starting the UK cohort for our next One Rock Institute. We did a full day of training with London City Mission, one of the oldest and most respected evangelistic groups in the UK, who are taking the gospel to some of the poorest and least reached parts of the city.
Our team again delivered workshops on leadership for 60 members of their senior team and their evangelists, and we will be following this up over the next year with further resources and coaching to help transform the culture of the organization. Their CEO said:
“The day has exceeded all our expectations.”
And one of the members of the new UK cohort said:
“I’ve been so excited to start this Institute year with One Rock. I believe that God will speak powerfully to me in terms of vision.”
Then over the last week One Rock has been attending the Lausanne Congress in Seoul, South Korea. This is a gathering of 5000 Christian leaders from around the world who are passionate about mission and fulfilling the Great Commission. Joanna is one of the catalysts leading how Lausanne looks into the area of leadership development across the global church, and we have met numerous potential new partners from across Africa, South Asia, East Asia and South East Asia who want to access our resources on discipleship and leadership development.
Please pray for these relationships to bear fruit for the Kingdom. And pray also for the leaders in the new UK cohort.
Next month we will start the African cohorts for the next Institute group, with leaders planning to join us from across Rwanda, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda and Zambia.
